Walker Design Creates an Organically Unique Workplace

Breaking the mold with an organically unique workplace design. The design concept for the BNY Mellon Lake Mary campus aims to capture the essence of Florida’s diverse natural landscape by incorporating elements of its lush greenery, sea, and sky into a playful yet refined interior palette. 

This biophilic concept is inspired by Floridian nature, beach tides and lake shore, with pops of vibrant sunset colors. This enriching palette promotes well being and collaboration, while creating a relaxed and inviting environment. 

The project totals over 300,000 sf of level 2 interior alteration, spanning 7 floors, 10 phases under 10 independent permits, in two buildings. At this time the project is over 70% complete and we couldn’t wait to share a few of the finished projects.

“BNY’s CEO, Robin Vince, visited the Lake Mary Campus on Thursday and Friday. He commented on how great the space looks, the variety of work point options, and the look and feel of the environment. 

We held a fireside chat in the Multi Purpose Room where he discussed how the investment in the physical environment can have a positive impact on associate’s desire to want to come to work and collaborate with one another. 

In addition, he spent a good amount of time at the exhibit you set up for us. He matched finishes to the renderings and commented about how the renderings match the reality!!
